Basic – Safe Erection & Dismantling for Independent Tied, Tower and Slung Scaffolding (BSED for ITS)
Training Duration: 3 Days (Including Theory & Practical Training)
Training Time: 08:30 – 16:30
Class Size: Minimum 6 Persons / Maximum 12 Persons.
Registration Fee: 6,000.00 Baht / Person.
Certification Issue By: 3M Safety Training Center Thailand.
Certification Validity Period: Statement of Attainment valid for 3 years from date of issue.
Training Location: 3M Safety Training Center Thailand /or Onsite.
Overview:
This course has been designed to meet or exceed the basic requirement for Scaffolder Level as stipulated guidelines by NASC TG20 & SG4 and cover BS5973 & EN12811-1 Specification.
This course is aimed at delivering the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to develop student be a competence and work safely in their scaffolding work environment.
This course has been contextualized to address the hazard in scaffold job and the important of techniques for erection & dismantling scaffold structure and important of fall protection equipment for working on scaffold.
Target Audience: Any and all personnel at Scaffolder Level or above, who’s work activities involved with scaffolding job.
Student Prerequisites:
- Students shall be working experience with erection and dismantling scaffold structure at least 1 Years.
- Students shall be passed Working at Height Training Course.
- Students should be physically fit and able to participate in moderately strenuous practical activities.
- Students shall be following Drug / Alcohol Policy.
- Students don’t were any short trouser and sandal to Training Center.
- Student shall prepare and were Safety Boots for Training.
Document Prerequisite for Training:
- Working at Height Training Certificate.
- Document confirmation for at least 1 years working experienced in scaffold construction job.
- Medical Checkup Document. - Copy of ID. Card /or Passport.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand in legislative requirements, roles and responsibilities for scaffolding work.
- Understand scaffolding definition/terminology.
- Understand the specification of BS 1139 Part 1, BS 1139 Part 2, BS EN39 Type4 and BS EN74-1 for Scaffold Tubes and Coupling/Fitting.
- Understand the specification of BS 2482 for Timber Scaffold Board.
- Understand the specification of Scaffold Foundation, Scaffold Ties, Gin Wheels, Ladder and Access Platforms & Egress.
- Understand the basic scaffold structure & component for Independent Tied, Tower and Slung Scaffolding as NASC-TG20 on the use of BS EN12811-1.
- Understand and be able to identify the hazards in scaffolding work.
- Understand Preventing Falls in Scaffolding Operations and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE.) requirement for scaffolding work as NASC-SG4.
- Understand and apply best practices for erection & dismantling on Independent Tied, Tower and Slung Scaffolding Structure.
- Understand and apply best practices as following SCAFF-TAG System.
Note #1: This cost is included as the following items below, when conduct training at 3M Safety Training Center Thailand:
Basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Number of Student in Class will be supported during Practical Training such as Safety Helmet, Safety Glasses, Coverall and Gloves.
Meal Provided with Lunch and 2 Coffee breaks per Day.
All Training Material & Equipment are used for theory and practical activity.
Note #2: Customer shall provide equipment & material as detail in the listed below for The Onsite Training:
Training Classroom for Number of Students, Projector & Screen. Whiteboard or Flipchart and Pens. Structure for practical activity.
Fall Arrest System Equipment (Full Body Harness & Twin Lanyard) for Number of Student in Class and any training equipment are concerned as Training Provider’s information.
Basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Number of Student in Class will be supported during Practical Training such as Safety Helmet, Safety Glasses, Coverall and Gloves.
Meal Provided with Lunch and 2 Coffee breaks per Day.
